A learning experience offering instruction in Ancestral and Land Based Living skills. Because there's never been a better time to boost your capacity, your resilience and your sense of connection.

The Buckskin Revolution Online Gatherings (BROGs) are explorations of fundamental life skills. Each gathering is unique, with different subject tracks to focus on, but all focus on skills to help you live a wilder, better rounded, more connected life. You'll better understand how to gather, grow and make more of things you need to live. You will deepen your connection to the living world around you and better understand how these practices relate to the human experience, now and throughout evolutionary history.
BROGS are unique online experiences. The lessons are designed not as a deep dive into one specific topic, but a curated collection of classes that build upon one another, much like many of the live skills gatherings that take place around the country.

The next live session of Buckskin Sewing 101, my online course covering all aspects of working with the best leather on earth, will be running in August 2025.
Available any time, all classes available upon signing up. Our 4 week live sessions with weekly Q&A zoom calls take place once a year. All who sign up between live sessions will be invited to participate in our live Q&A calls when the next one occurs.
This comprehensive course is designed to cover 4 modules in 4 weeks, with pre-recorded video classes, a private class chat platform where students can interact with me and one another, and live Q&A zoom calls.
Module 1: Buckskin Sewing Building Blocks
Teaching an understanding of this unique material, the best tools and techniques to use with it, and my Cardinal Rules of Buckskin Sewing
Module 2: A Hands-on Buckskin Sewing Project
Step by step instructions for completing a small project, providing skills and practice builds for larger projects
Module 3: Garments
Discussion of creating buckskin garments, details about my own buckskin wardrobe, pattern making, a tour of fur parka for Alone, and an overview of a shorts project.
Module 4: Next Steps
Making black walnut dye for buckskin, other embellishment and design ideas, and tips for caring for your buckskin clothing.
